Back to the drawing board.

My role as Creative Director for a boutique Dubai Agency didn’t work out as planned. The agency that brought me here are experts in their field, but my skill-set fits different tools of engagement.

In June 2011, as the Adverati rewarded each other in Cannes and right before my first Ramadan in the Middle East, I visited eight global agencies across Dubai. I met five award-winning creative directors with a book full of global brands with nothing to say, and a blog full of global Maddy with too much to say.

With their feedback, I spent three days making what’s below, on an Alzheimers-ridden mac (with a flaming power cable at one point – ouch). Thanks to impromptu creative directors Anna, Jonny & Jess.
